working for stars & stripes transportation

This is a part-time, 1099 contract position. 

Approved driver is responsible for transporting clients to authorized programs, employment, and activities using company owned vehicle. 

Responsible for:

• Showing up to work on time and adhering to the weekly transportation schedule.
• Transporting passengers in a safe and lawful manner. This includes the use of seat belts for all passengers.
• Assisting clients as they get into and out of the vehicle and needed.
• Treating clients with respect and dignity. 
• Performing only those transportation requests authorized by Stars & Stripes to fulfill the case plan for that individual/family. 
• Abiding by Stars & Stripes’ Rules of Client Confidentiality. 
• Recording time and mileage using assigned forms, turning in mileage log weekly and time sheet biweekly. 
• Reporting as soon as possible any problems or concerns regarding a specific client or transportation request. 
•  Workings with Stars & Stripes management and other collaborating agencies as a team member to best meet the needs of the client.
• Informing Stars & Stripes Management of vacations, illness etc. that would necessitate a substitute driver, with as much advance notice as possible. 
• Immediately reporting any accidents or incidents to Stars & Stripes Management.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 25 years of age
• Must have a valid drivers license and clean driving record 
•  Must have previous customer service experience with a good track record of assisting customers in a thoughtful, caring and timely manner
• Know how to keep a level head in a busy environment
• Must be passionate about helping people
• Great communication skills
• Must have a great work history with a track record of being a reliable responsible individual 
•  Must have a high school diploma or GED
• Training will be provided
